Mini Shepherd's Pot Pies
"Mini Shepherd's Pot Pies" : If you want to add new recipe in your weekly kitchen menu I will advise you to pick shepherd's pot pies it will increase the beauty of your menu. It look difficult to cook but actually not if you follow the steps properly.
Ingredients required are: 1 box of pie crust, 1/2 chopped onion, Beef broth 1/2 cup, butter 1 teaspoon, Green giant vegetable 1/2 cup from packet, lean beef 1/4 Kg, salt 1/3 teaspoon, pepper 1/4 teaspoon, 24 oz mashed potatoes.
Step 1 : Heat the oven up to 450F.
Step 2 : By using round cutter make round shape of pie crust and then give them shape of muffin cup by using cup models and finally let to bake for 5 to 7 minutes until become light brown.
Step 3 : Re set oven to 350F and put vegetables ingredients from packet to a microwaveable bowl put 2 or 3 teaspoon water and cover the top of bowl with plastic, put this inside oven for 3 minutes.
Step 4: take pan heat it add butter when it melt and become hot enough add onion cook by stirring until it become translucent then add beef cook for 8 to 10 minutes then add pepper and salt. Finally ad beef broth and cook until all liquid get absorbed and mix the already cooked vegetables from bowl.
Step 5 : Now in pie muffin cups( cooked in step1) fill each cup with 1/4 of beef mixture and top side of cup with 1/4 mashed hot potatoes.
Step 6 : Putt these filled cups in oven which is now at 340F for 30 minutes until pie crust become golden brown and mashed potatoes become light brown
Step 7 : Take out from oven. Food is ready now don't serve just after taking out from over. Wait at least 15 minutes before serving.
